In 2008 a group’s restructuring into a holding company took place. The latter formalizes de facto separation between founders and shareholders and managing the day to day business divisions to ensure sustainability.
In 2010, PGH has launched a restructuring operation which led to the re-centralization of the group around 8 trades for easier management and monitoring of performance. 8 trades are the poultry integration, consumer products, steel processing, packaging, real estate, wood and capital goods,
building materials and trade and services.
The holding company’s primary role is to ensure the competitiveness, sustainability and development of the group, manages investments in subsidiaries, is implementing the group’s strategy and centralizes some common activities. The basic element is a hybrid organization or double hierarchy that allows him to assist, manage and supervise subsidiaries and developing synergies between them.
