Since 2002, the National Best Packaging Competition “Tunisia Star Pack” has been a barometer to measure the packaging industry development. In fact it is a competition that reflects the technological evolution of the packaging and printing industry in Tunisia, targeting the promotion of innovative Tunisian companies not only at the local market but also internationally. Winning products are hence offered the possibility to take part in the World Packaging Competition, organized by the World Packaging Organization (WPO).

This ceremony was marked by the presence of Mr. Abdelaziz Rassaa, the Secretary of State to the Minister of Industry and Technology responsible for Renewable Energy and Food Economy.

The jury of this edition has awarded 36 “Tunisia Star Pack” to more than sixty packages that participated in this contest. 13 prizes were rewarded in the Technical Section for aspects related to the control of manufacturing and printing technologies as well as ease of implementation at the stage of distribution, storage and use of the product and finally for their respect of the environment.

The “President of the Jury’s Award” was awarded to two companies among them a subsidiary of PGH “TECHNOFLEX” for the “JADIDA” package label.
