The Ministry of Women, Family and Children and Poulina Group Holding signed on Wednesday signed a framework partnership and cooperation agreement, under which the group undertakes to organize for children The most disadvantaged regions, visits to its Carthage Land Amusement Parks.

The agreement also provides for unemployed women in these regions to benefit from franchise contracts enabling them to exploit the EL Mazraa trade mark. Samira Merai Friaa, Minister of Women, Family and Children, underlined at the signing ceremony held at the Ministry’s headquarters the importance of this type of convention in the democratization of leisure for the benefit of all Tunisian children, especially those from disadvantaged regions.

Such initiatives, she said, help to immunize children and adolescents against extremism and fanaticism.

She expressed the hope that this convention would benefit more than 10 thousand children in a first stage, emphasizing the importance of partnership between state institutions and private economic groups in strengthening and diversifying Of social action.

For its part, the president of Poulina Group Holding, Abdelwaheb Ben Ayed said that the group has responded positively to this initiative joins the useful to the pleasant by combining entertainment and culture. He added that for several years Poulina has been implementing a social responsibility program that promotes the development work and strengthens its openness to the external environment.

He pointed out that the Convention made it possible to better organize the initiative launched in December 2015 for children in the interior, pointing out that more than 700 children had visited Carthage Land so far.

It should also be pointed out that a joint committee will be set up to monitor and apply the terms of this convention in order to achieve the objectives set.
